Ruth: The Musical
My first full-length musical was premiered in 2018 as a piano/vocal concert-style performance, and it received an updated performance in 2025 with staging and the addition of a string orchestra and 30-voice choir.
Rhapsody in A Minor
This full orchestra work (12 minutes) was commissioned for the 60th Anniversary Concert of the Youth Music Illinois organization.
Piano Sonata No. 1
I composed this 3-movement piano sonata for my Senior Piano Recital during my time at Illinois Wesleyan University. I performed the premiere in January 2012.
Appalachian Dance
This piece was written for the Central Illinois Concerto Orchestra in the spring of 2022. After surveying the students to discover what elements they enjoyed playing in a new composition, I conducted the premiere performance.
